Abstract

Indeks Pembangunan Manusia digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat pencapaian kualitas pembangunan manusia baik dari segi Pendidikan, Kesehatan dan ekonomi, indeks pembangunan manusia ini dipublikasikan oleh United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) pada tahun 1996 dalam laporan berjudul “Human Development Report” yang disusun sebagai indikator penting untuk menilai keberhasilan pembangunan oleh suatu negara. Tingkat pendapatan daerah yang tinggi baik itu dana perimbangan, PDRB maupun jumah penduduk, semua itu dapat meningkatkan indeks pembangunan manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik dasar analisis ini menggunakan regresi data panel yaitu kombinasi dari data kerat lintang (cross section) dan data deret waktu (time series). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dana Perimbangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia, Produk Domestik Regional Bruto tidak berpengaruuh signifikan terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia dan Jumlah Pemduduk memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia Lima Provinsi di Pulau Sumatera tahun 2013-2022.
