Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap keterampilan proses sains pada materi hukum lavoisier di SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain True Eksperimental dengan bentuk pretest-posttest control group design.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Jumlah penelitian sebanyak 72 siswa yang terdiri dari 35 kelas X.3 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas 37 siswa kelas X.5 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal pre-tes, post-test, tes praktik, dan lembar observasi. Hasil uji hipotesis post-test menggunakan uji-t diperoleh hasil nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi hukum lavoisier di SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya.
