Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out the impact of micro teaching on teaching skills of the fresh graduates of the English Education study program Sriwijaya University. The participants of this research was six of the fresh graduates in English Education study program Sriwijaya University. This research instrument used descriptive qualitative through questionnaire on Google Form and an interview. The research result found that the impact of micro teaching have a lot of benefits by taking micro teaching program. Therefore, micro teaching program improved the teaching skills and teaching set such as (lesson plan, material, teaching media, students’ worksheet and assessment. Additionally, the way how to open and close the class properly, manages and handles the class well. In brief, this program helpful for fresh graduates to face in the real class.
