Abstract

Limbah medis infeksius di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan pada masa pandemi Covid19 berpotensi menjadi media penyebaran penyakit menular apabila tidak ditangani dengan benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen pengelolaan limbah medis infeksius di RSUD Kota Depok. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan analisa deskriptif. Data primer diperoleh dari wawancara mendalam dan observasi menggunakan pedoman wawancara dan lembar observasi, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari telaah dokumen mengenai pengelolaan limbah medis infeksius. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan kepada 10 informan dengan teknik pemilihan informan secara purposive sampling. Triangulasi yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu triangulasi metode (wawancara mendalam, observasi, telaah dokumen), sumber (informan kunci dan informan), dan data (primer dan sekunder). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang memenuhi dalam pengelolaan limbah infeksius di RSUD Kota Depok yaitu sarana prasarana, proses penyimpanan, proses pengangkutan dan pengolahan internal. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak memenuhi yaitu upaya perlindungan petugas, upaya pengurangan, dan proses pemilahan. Maka dapat disimpulkan, penanganan limbah infeksius pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di RSUD Kota Depok kurang memenuhi standar pengelolaan limbah medis B3, sehingga berisiko dalam penyebaran penyakit menular melalui pengelolaan limbah medis infeksius. Saran penelitian ini sebaiknya RSUD Kota Depok melengkapi penggunaan APD pada petugas, meningkatkan kesadaran pengunjung rumah sakit dalam pemilahan limbah di rumah sakit, serta menerapkan prinsip 3R dalam upaya pengurangan limbah medis infeksius.
