Abstract

Sebuah metode analisis telah dikembangkan dalam mempelajari kondisi thermal pada Waterblock prosesor komputer dalam tugas akhir ini Dimana aliran panas dari prosesor masuk ke Waterblock dan dengan media pendingin air dianalisa dengan program A bagus 6.4-1, dengan menganggap aliran yang terjadi dalam kondisi stedi dan dengan menggunakan satu jenis material Besar temperatur dan perpindahan panas pada setiap nodai dan elemen dihitung dengan bantuan perangkat lunak (Software) Abaqus Versi 6.4-1. Hasil perhitungan analisa waterblock dari empat dimensi yang berbeda, dengan dimensi awal waterblock bersirip (78 x 60 x 23,5 mm), temperatur prosesor 348 °K, temperatur pendingin 298 °K, beban thermal 70 W, dan koefisien konveksi 1683,1 W/m2.K, dengan bantuan Software Abaqus 6.4-1 menghasikan distribusi temperatur maksimum antara 318,61 °K sampai dengan 306,95 °K dan distribusi perpindahan panas maksimum antara 143,63E+03 W/m2.K sampai dengan 46,729E+03 W/m2.K. Informasi temperatur dan perpindahan panas ini dapat digunakan sebagai input data pada desain sistem pendingin (cooling system), pengaruh beban thermal akibat temperatur tersebut, dan desain mesin secara umum.
