Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate social responsibility and good corporate governance on financial performance. The variables of good corporate governance used are managerial ownership, board of independent commissioners, and audit committee, financial performance using return on asset. This research metode uses quantitative methodes using observation in the form of panel data processed using eviews12. The population in this study consists of the companies in the food and beverage subsector listed on IDX in 2017-2022. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling technique, which obtained as many as 20 companies. The result of this study indicate that corporate social responsibility and audit committee do not have effect on return on asset. While, managerial ownership had a negative effect on return on asset and board of independent commissioners has a positive effect on return on aseets.
