Abstract

The objective of the research was to know the effect of organic fertilizer to growth and yield of the rice on the dry land. The research was started in may until september 2013 at the trial farm of Agricultural cultivation department, faculty of agriculture, university of Sriwijaya. The research used random group program with organic fertilizer treatment. The treatment repeated three times. The organic treatment among P1 (dung of chicken 10 ton/ha), P2 (dung of chicken 15 ton/ha), P3 (dung of cow 10 ton/ha), P4 (dung of cow 15 ton/ha), P5 (compost 10 ton/ha), P6 (compost 15 ton/ha). With P0 (inorganic fertilizer). Every real difference variance of F tested continue then use Least Significant Diference Test. The result showed that organic fertilizer treatment affect to plants height, and no effect to the other parameter such as the tillers quantity, tiller productive quantity, the quantity of unhulled/tassel, weight of dry unhulled, weight of dry straw, the presentation of unhulled, and weight of 100 grain.
