Abstract

The development of interactive learning media based on Construct 2 educational game on drama material for students of class XI SMA Negeri 15 Palembang aims to; (1) describe the results of the needs analysis of teachers and students; (2) produce interactive learning media designs; and (3) describe the results of expert validation. The research and development method used is a combined research and development method of Borg & Gall and Alessi & Trollip, the research and development procedures include, (1) research and information gathering; (2) planning; (3) development of the initial form of the product; (4) product validation by experts; (5) product revision. The results of the needs analysis of teachers and students based on interviews and questionnaires that teachers and students need Construct 2 interactive learning media. This learning media has been validated by three expert validators, namely material, language, and media experts. Based on the results of validation by experts, it shows that this learning media (1) in terms of material is Very Feasible because it gets a total score of 41 out of a maximum score of 52, an average score of 3.15, and a percentage of 79%; (2) in terms of language is also declared Very Feasible because it gets a total score of 36 out of a maximum score of 44, an average score of 3.27, and a percentage of 82%; and (3) in terms of media gets a total score of 59 out of a maximum score of 60, an average score of 3.93, and a percentage of 98%, which is also included in the Very Feasible category. Therefore, this interactive learning media based on Construct 2 educational game for drama learning is declared valid or suitable for use in the learning process.
