Abstract

Seepage analysis is an analysis that must be carried out in planning a water structure. Water seepage analysis can be carried out by analyzing the seepage coefficient on the embankment at Embung 1, Sriwijaya Indralaya University. Sriwijaya Indralaya University's Embung 1 has an area of 42.09 ha with an average depth of 5 m. The aim of this research is to analyze water content, Atterberg limit, sieve test analysis, determine soil type, and analyze the soil permeability coefficient on the Embankment at Embung 1 Sriwijaya University. In this research, the soil classification system used is the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS). The results showed that the average water content was 84.79% and the specific gravity was 2.19. The results obtained from the Atterberg limit test calculation are PL = 48.36%, LL = 57%, and PI = 8.64%. And the results obtained from the sieve analysis test calculations were 510.4866 grams. Soil classification analysis shows that the soil on the Embankment at Embung I Sriwijaya Indralaya University is clayey sand (SC).
