Abstract

Most of the Indonesian population's livelihoods came from the agricultural sector that is currently growing in Indonesia. The agricultural sector is one of many sectors that survive in the economy and serves as a supporter of national development, in which case agricultural development is focused on raising the standard of living, developing agricultural innovation, and opening up employment for agricultural products and their derivatives. One of the most important and contributing agricultural commodities to the country's currency is rubber. The city of Palembang, which is the capital of South Sumatra, is also a contributor of rubber commodities, especially in the Gandus district. From this background, the author wanted to see if, with the existence of rubber factories and farmers' marketing agencies, they had access to marketing their rubber business. So the author is interested to raise the research entitled “Analysis of Agriculture Revenue and Marketing of Rubber Commodities in Pulokerto Village of Gandus Kota Palembang”. As to the purpose of this research is as follows: 1) Calculating the income and efficiency of rubber usahatani, 2) Analysis of marketing channels for rubber commodities, 3) Analysing the effectiveness of the channel of marketing of rubbish commodity in pulokerto village. The data required in this study consists of primary data and secondary data. From this study it was concluded that: 1) The average acceptance of rubber use of 32.870.376 with the revenue of use rubber in Pulokerto Kelurahan is of Rupees 30.587.023 per hectare per year, 2) the ratio of the level of efficiency of use in pulokerto kelurahan of 14.4 or R/C ratio > 1, 3) There are two patterns of the marketing channel rubber processing material in Pulokeroto Kelurohan Gandus Kota Palembang district namely Marketing Channel I: farmers – big merchants – factory, and Marketing Channel II: Farmers – UPPBiri Joint – Factory, 4) There are still few rubber farmers that market their rubber through UPPPB.
