Abstract

The research was conducted in Greenhouse and Laboratory of Entomology Department of Plant Pest and Diseases Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University from January to April 2008. The objectives of the research were to know the influence of kemel neem extract to mortality of P. unionalis larvae, the ability larvae to be pupae and Experimental method was used with Completely Randomized Design with six treatments and four replications. The result of the research the ability pupae to be adult. showed that giving kemel neem extract influenced the mortality of P. unionalis larvae, the ability larvae to be pupae and the ability pupae to be adult. Kemel neem extract caused mortality P. unionalis larvae 100%, obstructed the ability larvae to be pupae and the ability pupae to be adult until 0%. The larvae that died by kemel neem extract were blackish brown colour, smelly and wet. Kemel neem extract caused the pupae were dwinkle and smaller than unapplicated one, beside it caused the adult to be abnormal i.e wingless, without legs and antenna..
