Abstract

Film sudah memberikan berbagai informasi tentang pesan-pesan positif maupun negatif dan tentu akan mempengaruhi perspektif masyarakat terhadap berbagai persoalan yang dibentuk oleh remaja. Film “Di Bawah Umur” telah menggambarkan dan menunjukkan bahwa pergaulan bebas remaja adalah gejala patologis sosial yang berkembang dalam lingkungan masyarakat sekarang. Hal itu dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan, teman, dan latar belakang budaya. Simbol pergaulan bebas remaja yang direpresentasikan pada film ini tentu menarik untuk diteliti sehingga akan memberikan pemahaman tentang simbol-simbol pergaulan bebas dalam film “Di Bawah Umur”. Metode analisis yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce melalui dasar teori yaitu hubungan triadik yang meliputi tanda, objek, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian dalam film ini ditemukan bahwa konteks patologis sosial menjadikan remaja sebagai aktor utama pembuat masalah, mulai dari menampilkan botol minuman keras, hasil test pack akibat sex bebas, mencari identitas diri dengan kekerasan, dan sexual verbal akibat dari budaya patriarki sebagai bentuk dominasi laki-laki terhadap perempuan. Kata kunci: Film, Representasi, Semiotika, Simbol, Pergaulan Bebas. The film has provided various information about positive and negative messages and will certainly affect people's perspectives on various problems formed by adolescents. The film "Underage" has depicted and shown that adolescent promiscuity is a social pathological symptom that develops in today's society. It is influenced by the environment, friends, and cultural background. The symbols of youth promiscuity represented in this film are certainly interesting to examine so that it will provide an understanding of the symbols of promiscuity in the film "Underage". The analytical method carried out in this study uses Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic analysis through the theoretical basis, namely triadic relationships which include signs, objects, and interpretants. The results of research in this film found that the social pathological context makes adolescents the main actors who make problems, ranging from displaying liquor bottles, test pack results due to free sex, seeking self-identity with violence, and verbal sexual due to patriarchal culture as a form of male domination of women.
