Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Perkembangan Makanan Tradisional Khas Sumatera Selatan Gulo Puan di Desa Rambutan Kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin Tahun 2012-2022”. Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah bagaimana sejarah makanan tradisional khas Sumatera Selatan Gulo Puan di Desa Rambutan, bagaimana perkembangan makanan tradisional Gulo Puan di Desa Rambutan dan bagaimana peran pemerintah serta masyarakat terhadap berkembangnya makanan tradisional Gulo Puan di Desa Rambutan Kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin tahun 2012-2022. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana sejarah, perkembangan, dan peran pemerintah serta masyarakat terhadap makanan tradisional Gulo Puan di Desa Rambutan Kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode historis, dan mempunyai empat langkah-langkah yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan ekonomi dan sosiologi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan bahwa Gulo Puan dibuat oleh masyarakat yang memanfaatkan hasil kekayaan alam daerah yaitu susu kerbau. Gulo Puan sudah berkembang sangat pesat dalam rentang waktu dari tahun 2012-2022 mengalami perkembangan yang sangat stabil tidak mengalami penurunan sekalipun.
