Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang bagaimana upaya diplomasi Indonesia dalam mempertahankan Batur Bali sebagai bagian dari situs GLOBAL GEOPARKS NETWORK (UGGp)dari revalidasi pertama tahun 2012-2016 dan revalidasi kedua tahun 2017-2020. Penelitian diawali setelah UNESCO mengesahkan Batur Bali sebagai UGGp Indonesia. Untuk terus memperoleh status resmi sebagai global geoparks perlu dilakukannya proses Revalidasi agar Batur Bali terus menyandang gelar sebagai UNESCO Global geoparks Network uggp penelitian ini menggunakan teori multitrack diplomasi oleh Louis Diamond dan John McDonald dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan bersifat sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya diplomasi Indonesia untuk mempertahankan Batur balis sebagai Global Geopark network uggp pada revalidasi kedua telah membuahkan hasil antara lain perkembangan pembangunan infrastruktur pemberdayaan masyarakat peningkatan perekonomian dan pembukaan lapangan kerja.
