Abstract

ABSTRACT Regional trade cooperation is one of the main strategies in optimizing a country's national interest. This research aims to analyze Indonesia's national interest in the ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA) cooperation, especially in the context of economic, security, ideological and world order impacts. This research uses public policy analysis method and interdisciplinary approach to explore the complexity of ACFTA cooperation. Data is collected through literature study, policy analysis, and related internet. The results show that ACFTA has a positive impact on Indonesia's economic sector, especially in increasing exports and investment. In terms of security, this cooperation can strengthen regional stability and reduce the potential for conflict. However, there is a need for joint efforts in addressing cross-border security issues, such as illegal trafficking and maritime security. Politically, ACFTA provides an opportunity for Indonesia to increase its role in regional and global economic diplomacy. Thus, the conclusion of this study is that Indonesia's national interest in ACFTA cooperation is very significant, especially in increasing economic growth, maintaining regional stability, and strengthening its political position. However, there needs to be continuous efforts to overcome the challenges that arise and ensure that this cooperation provides maximum benefits for nasional development and security
