Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa FKIP program studi PPKn universitas sriwijaya terhadap perjudian online. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah sebanyak lima belas orang yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling probability sampling dengan tipe simple random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi teknik dokumentasi, teknik wawancara, dan teknik observasi. Uji keabsahan data digunakan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya, uji kredibilitas, uji transferbilitas, uji depenbilitas, serta uji konfirmabilitas. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan pada analisis data yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa persepsi mahasiswa mengenai perjudian online di kota Palembang cenderung negatif, dimana kebanyakan mahasiswa tidak setuju dengan adanya perjudian online dan akan menolak perjudian online di kota Palembang. Adapun persepsi mahasiswa mengenai perjudian online mengacu pada 3 indikator yaitu aspek kognitif, aspek afektif dan aspek konatif yang menjadi instrument bagi mahasiswa mempersepsikan perjudian online.
