Abstract

Kesuburan tanah merupakan kemampuan suatu tanah untuk menyediakan unsur hara dengan seimbang guna menunjang pertumbuhan suatu jeniS tanaman.Kesuburantanah yang rendah umumnya disebabkan oleh kendala kimia yang membatasi pertumbuhan tanaman, serta kesuburan tanah yang rendah juga dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas suatu tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui status kesuburan tanah dan penetapan rekomendasi pemupukan N, P, K pada budidaya tanaman kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) di Divisi 5 PT Sawit Mas Sejahtera, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei tingkatan semidetail dengan skala peta area penelitian 1:50.000. Penentuan pengambilan titik sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel tanah dilakukan pada kedalaman 0-30 cm. Pada penelitian ini digunakan luas area 90 Ha yang terbagi menjadi 3 area blok, yaitu blok W, T, dan U. Pada tiap blok akan diambil masing-masing 3 sampel hasil komposit sehingga akan didapatkan 9 sampel analisis. Sifat kimia tanah yang dianalisis yaitu; pH tanah, N-total tanah, C�organik tanah, P-tersediatanah, K-dd tanah, Kapasitas Tukar Kation (KTK) tanah dan Kejenuhan Basa pada tanah. Hasil analisis pH tanah tergolong masam yaitu berkisar (4,26 – 4,87). C-organiktanah tergolong sangat rendah yaitu berkisar (0,39 % – 1,48 %). Kapasitas Tukar Kation tanah tergolong rendah hingga sedang berkisar (7,5 cmol kg-1 – 17,5 cmol kg-1). N-total tanah tergolong sangat rendah yaitu berkisar (0,05 % – 0,08 %). P-Tersedia tanah tergolong sedang hingga sangat tinggi yaitu berkisar (21,54 – 50,68 mg kg-1). K-dd tanah tergolong rendah hingga sangat tinggi yaitu berkisar (0,25 – 2.23 cmol kgˉ¹).Kejenuhan basa tanah tergolong sangat rendah yaitu berkisar (1,82 % – 5,71 %). Hasilperhitungan rekomendasi pemupukan Urea yaitu dengan dosis berkisar (303,3 kg ha-1 – 316,3 kg ha-1), dosis SP-36 tidak diperlukan pemupukan karena kandungan P pada tanah tersebut sudah mencukupi dan dosis KCl berkisar (89 kg ha-1 – 299 kg ha-1).
