Abstract

Bunga kecombrang (Etlingera elatior) dan daun beluntas (Pluchea indica) mengandung senyawa flavanoid yang memiliki sifat antidiabetes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui formulasi ekstrak bunga kecombrang (Etlingera elatior) dan daun beluntas (Pluchea indica) yang efektif sebagai antidiabetes. Penelitian dilakukan secara in vitro dengan melihat aktivitas inhibisi pada setiap formulasi ekstrak bunga kecombrang dan daun beluntas. Uji aktivitas inhibisi dilakukan pada konsentrasi 1200, 1300, 1400, dan 1500 ppm dengan metode Nelson-Somogyi. Setiap kosentrasi di buat formulasi dengan perbandingan ekstrak 0:1; 1:2; 1:1; 2:1; 1:0. Absorban diukur pada panjang gelombang 745 nm menggunakan spektrometer UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas inhibisi yang paling tinggi diperoleh pada konsentrasi 1400 ppm, dengan formulasi ekstrak 2:1 yaitu sebesar 71,57%.
