Abstract
This study aims to analyze the science process skills of Sriwijaya University Chemistry Education study program students in the inorganic chemistry practicum course 1 material on the utilization of aluminum drink can waste as a hydrogen gas producer. This research is a quantitative study using a descriptive approach. Three observers conducted an assessment using a validated science process skills observation sheet instrument and equipped with a field note tool. This research is based on the observation of seven aspects of science processskills. The results obtained science process skills with very good categoriesinclude aspects of observing (89%), measuring (86%), drawing conclusions orinferences (89%), predicting (81%), and communicating (85%), while aspect swith good categories include classifying (79%) and conducting experiments(78%). The percentage of mastery of science process skills as a whole withan average value of 85% is classified as very good. Keywords: Science process skills, Inorganic Chemistry Practicum.
