Abstract
The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Entomology Department of Plant Pests and Diseases Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University Indralaya from November 2013 to May 2014. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of bioinsecticide with various carrier materials with the active ingredient Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner on mortality and Lethal time (LT50) larvae of Spodoptera litura Fabricius. The research was conducted in completely randomized design six treatments and four replications. The carrier material used to EKKU sterile, steril EKKU centrifuged, EKKU non sterile, non-steril EKKU centrifuged, Nutrient Broth and water. The results showed that efficacy of bioinsecticide with sterile carrier EKKU centrifuged more influence on mortality and LT50 of S. litura. Highest mortality rate achieved by treatment with sterile carrier EKKU centrifuged in the amount of 95 % and the lowest was the control treatment that is 0 %. For the highest LT50 occurred in the non-steril EKKU centrifuged treatment that is the lowest LT50 70,653 hours occurred on treatment with EKKU carrier is sterile centrifugation at 33.557 hours.
