Abstract
The research was intended to know the effect of fosfore dose of Aloe vera (Aloe vera Linn) growth in peat soil, and find the best dose of fosfore to the Aloe vera growth in peat soil. The research was carried out in the Research Station of Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The research was started from May to August 2013. The method that used in this research was Complete Randomized Design (CRD) consisted of five treatments. The treatment were Pi ( 9 g fosfore/polybag), P2 (12 g fosfore/polybag), P3 (15 g fosfore/polybag), P4 (18 g fosfore/polybag), and P5 (21 g/fosfore/polybag), repeated five times, so that there are 25 treatment units. The result showed there was significant effect on the parameter increase the number of long leaf. Dose of fosfore 21 g/polybag gave the maximum results on the growth of Aloe vera.
