Abstract

Regarding to development of motorcycle production, the consumption of fuel also increased. Accordingly, te pertamax oil is unlikely consumed by the people in accordance with price. Even the pertamax oil is much environmentally friendship.This research is trying to find the effect of mixing bot premium and pertamax in some ratios. Research result has shown that premium and pertamax mixture may lowing fuel consumption and gas emission.The highest fuel consumption is premium 80% - pertamax 20% fuel mixture by fuel consumption, 0.153846154 ml/s. Meanwhile the lowest fuel consumption is premium 20% - pertamax 80% fuel mixture by fuel consumption, 0.075471698 ml/s. Result for emission exhaust gas has shown that descent expecially CO and HC emission.The highest level of CO emission exist by premium 80% - pertamax 20% fuel mixture that is , 3.282% and the lowest of CO emission exist by premium 20% - pertamax 80% fuel mixture that is, 1.665%. The highest level of HC emission exist by premium 80% - pertamax 20% fuel mixture that is 220 ppm and the lowest level of HC emission exist by premium 20% - pertamax 80% which is, 73 ppm. The highest level of C02 emission exist by pertamax 80% - premium 20% which is, 9.88% and the lowest is premium 80% - pertamax 20% which is 9.8. Based on this research, will know that as many as pertamax mixed into premium it will save the fuel consumption and green environment either.
