Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan model think talk write terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah model think talk write lebih efektif daripada model konvensional terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu untuk mengetahui efektif atau tidaknya model TTW dalam kemampuan menulis narasi siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen yang diberi tes awal dan tes akhir. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa model think talk write efektif diterapkan dalam keterampilan menulis narasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Palembang dibandingkan dengan model konvensional. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Think Talk Write, Menulis Narasi.
