Abstract
This research aims to know the response of Polianthes tuberose L. on generative phase against the granting of NPK fertilizer with several doses. This research was carried out in the Research Station of Agnculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya from April 2013 until July 2013 The experimental design used Randomized Completely Design Method consisted of seven treatments and four replications with four plants for each unit. The total number of plants were 112 plants. The treatment were Do (control), Dj( NPK 16-16-16 8 g/polybag), D2 ( NPK 16-16-16 10 g/polybag), D3 ( NPK 15-15-15 8 g/polybag), D4 (NPK 15-15-15 10 g/polybag), D5 ( NPK 20-10-10 8 g/polybag), D6 (NPK 20-10-10 10 g/polybag). The parameters were number of tillers increase, number of productive tillers, number of flowers, stem length, stem diameter, durability store, flowering time, amount of chlorophyll. The result show that NPK fertilizer interactions significantly on stem diameter and durability store, and not significantly effect on number of tillers increase, number of productive tillers, number of flowers, stem length, amount of chlorophyll, and flowering time. NPK fertilizer 16-16-16 10 g/polybag gave the best effect on stem diameter and durability store and produce the highest average stem length and number of flowers.
