Abstract

Investment is an investment activity in a company with hope of obtaining a certain amount of profit at a predetermined time. One of the investment applications in Indonesia, Stockbit, offers a variety of investment instruments along with features in the application that make users feel easy and comfortable in using the application. However, many young people today invest only because they follow trends (FoMo) and also do not know the benefits and risk of these investments. This causes investment decision-making not to be based on in-depth understanding and good analysis. To overcome this, the author evaluates mobile investment applications in building long-term investment patterns using the Heuristic Evaluation method. This research aims to evaluate the stockbit application based on user experience and find out the most influential variables in building long-term investment patterns. The research aims to evaluate the stockbit application based on user experience and find out the most influential variables in building long-term investment patterns. The results of this method show that there are three sub-variables that have a positive influence on long-term investment patterns, which are Exposing Risk, Encourage Delibrate Trading, Discouraging Overreactions to Market News and there are two variables that have a high severity rating value so that improvement recommendations are needed.
