Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan asam akrilat dengan kapasitas 70.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri tahun 2021 di Kawasan Industri Lubuk Gaung, Dumai, Provinsi Riau seluas 3 ha. Proses pembuatan asam akrilat ini menggunakan metode Glycerol Dehydration-Acrolein Oxidation Route dengan katalis boron fosfat dan molybdenum-vanadium oxide. Kondisi operasi pembuatan asam akrilat adalah 300oC dan tekanan 2,9 atm pada Reaktor-01, dan 285oC dan tekanan 2,6 atm pada Reaktor-02. Reaksi yang terjadi sebagai berikut: a) C3H8O3 CH2CHCHO + 2 H2O gliserol akrolein air b) CH2CHCHO + ½ O2 CH2CHCOOH akrolein oksigen asam akrilat Perusahaan pabrik pembuatan asam akrilat ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan pimpinannya adalah direktur utama. Sistem organisasi perusahaan ini adalah line and staff dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 105 orang. Hasil dari analisa ekonomi Pra-rencana Pabrik Pembuatan Asam Akrilat ini sebagai berikut. 1) Total Capital Investment = US $ 429,423,383.76 2) Selling Price = US $ 339,500,000.00 3) Total Production Cost = US $ 145,981,670.82 4) Annual Cash Flow = US $ 157,017,705.47 5) Pay Out time = 2 tahun 6) Rate of Return on Investment = 36,62% 7) Discounted Cash Flow = 35,52% 8) Break Even Point = 29,68% 9) Service Life = 11 tahun
