Abstract

Mining operations at the site of PT. Bona Sarana Sukses site PT. Muara Alam Sejahtera are located in Merapi West, Lahat District, South Sumatera which has a total active pit area of 526 Ha. In January in PT. Bina Sarana Sukses there was a significant reduction in overburden production targets. In December, the overburden reduction of 2.186.120 BCM and 71.373 Tons for Coal with a December SR of 30.63 using total of 12 fleets. while in January the overburden production target of 556.166 BCM and 80.265 Tones for coal acquisition targets. So there is need for reduction in the fleet and an adjustment of the area to be mined. The study aims to plan the pit and disposal designs as well as fleet plans for the month of January, which are presented in the form of mining activities in 5 weeks intervals. The research was conducted with direct field reviews, taking primary and secondary data, making mining designs using Minescape 5.7 and ArcGis 10.8 software and calculating load and transportation grinding needs using Microsoft Excel. The research resulted in a pit design and disposal plan 5 weeks. Total of overburden of 556,166 BCM and 80,265 Tons of Coal with a January SR of 6.93 using total off 6 fleet. Pit opening on the west side of the high wall 13.82 Ha and 7.9 Ha on the bottom side. Dumping of the planned area is carried out at disposal Alam 4 with an opening of 32.14 Ha and capacity of 494.161 CCM. Setting the fleet and unit capacity using 4 fleets overburden and 2 fleets coal getting, the use of 2 types of hauler units overburden CMT 106 and CMT 96 as well as use of 8 units Dongfeng hauler for transportation of coal to stockpile.
