Abstract
The objectives of this research were to determine the effects of liquid fertilizer application on calcium leached and absorb by com plant which grew on sandy loam and sandy clay soils. This research was conducted in the Glass house, soil and plants nutrients were analysis in Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility, Soil Science Departement of Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University. This research was carrried out ffom January to April 2014. This research used Factorial Randomized Completely Design (FRCD) with two factors. The first factor was dose of liquid fertilizer, which consists of 5 levels, that are control (0 ml), Pi (10 ml), P2 (20 ml), P3 (30 ml) and P4 (40 ml), while the second factor was the soil texture which consists of 2 types, their were T1 (sandy loam soil) and T2 (sandy clay soil). Based on the research the results showed that liquid fertilizer with a dose 20 ml in sandy loam soil texture, have a high level of calcium leached most highest and dose of 30 ml calcium absorb in both of soil texture has the highest level.
