Abstract
This study aims to determine the rhizobacteria and the influence of biological fertilizers on the growth and development of oil palm seedlings. The study was conducted from October 2019 to February 2019. The study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAKF) with two factors. The first factor consists of two media (M) namely non-sterile soil (M1) and sterile soil media (M2). The second factor consisted of 7 treatments of fertilizer dosage (D) D0 = Control, D1 = 10 ml of biological fertilizer, D2 = 100% inorganic fertilizer, D3 = 75% inorganic fertilizer + 5 ml of biological fertilizer, D4 = 75% inorganic fertilizer + biological fertilizer 10 ml, D5 = 50% inorganic fertilizer + 5 ml biological fertilizer, D6 = 50% inorganic fertilizer + 10 ml biological fertilizer. Based on the results of the study it was found that the administration of inorganic fertilizer 75% suppressed the rate of microbial growth in the soil. And biological fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer can increase the growth of seedling height, number of leaf midribs, and stem diameter with a combination of urea fertilizer dosage of 18 grams / 15 liters for 300 seeds, NPK fertilizer 22.5 grams / 20 liters for 300 seeds + 10 ml of biological fertilizer for oil palm seeds up to the age of 3 months. Keywords: biological fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, urea fertilizer, oil palm seedlingsThis study aims to determine the rhizobacteria and the influence of biological fertilizers on the growth and development of oil palm seedlings.
