Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze the spatial model of maternal human capital, health investment and maternal time allocation for nutrition of stunted toddlers in mining and non-tin mining areas of Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The data used were primary data of 130 toddlers living in 67 villages/sub-districts of Bangka Island and 60 toddlers in 35 villages/sub-districts of Bangka Island in the mining area. The non-tin mining area consists of 117 toddlers living in 63 villages/sub-districts of Bangka Island and 39 toddlers living in 19 villages/sub-districts of Belitung Island. The analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive, estimated OLS model and Geographically Weigted Regression (GWR) to analyze the spatial model. The results of the study found that food knowledge had a positive coefficient on the nutrition of stunted toddlers in mining and non-tin mining areas. The consumption of superior fish has the potential to have a positive impact on the nutrition of stunted toddlers in all villages/sub-districts in the tin mining areas of Bangka and Belitung Islands, while in non-tin mining areas it only affects 2 villages/sub-districts of Belitung Island. Cash assistance has a negative impact on the nutrition of stunted toddlers in tin mining areas, but has a negative and significant impact on 10 villages/sub-districts in non-tin mining areas on Belitung Island. Non-cash assistance has a positive impact on the nutrition of stunted toddlers in the tin mining area of Belitung Island. Posyandu assistance only had a positive effect on the nutrition of stunted toddlers in 3 villages/sub-districts of Bangka Island in non-tin mining areas and negatively related to 27 villages/sub-districts. Medical expenses have a positive effect on the nutrition of stunted toddlers in non-tin mining areas on Belitung Island, but only have a positive impact on 11 villages/sub-districts of Bangka Island. Stunting toddler care hours have a positive and negative impact on the nutrition of stunted toddlers. Mother's free time has a positive impact on all villages/sub-districts in the tin mining area, but only has an impact on 58 villages/sub-districts on Bangka Island that are not tin mines. Maternal sleep hours have a positive impact on the nutrition of stunted toddlers in tin mining areas and negatively in non-tin mining areas of Belitung Island.
