Abstract
Solidworks is a software that can simplify and facilitate the design and analysis process of a structure. To make it easier to create designs, Solidworks software has several basic features such as paramatric solid modeling. One thing that can be analyzed using Solidworks software is the pressure on the roller of the sugar cane crusher. A sugar cane pressing machine is a machine used to squeeze sugar cane to produce sugar cane sap or juice. Based on the number of rollers, grinding machines are divided into three types, including two-roll mechanical grinding machines, three-roll mechanical grinding machines, and four-roll mechanical grinding machines. Tension is a physical quantity that describes the force that arises within the particles of an object which is caused by the force on the particles of another object. The reaction force applied to a rod or plate occurs from the opposite direction. Finite Element Method or FEM is a numerical method used to solve engineering and mathematical problems from physical phenomena. The test results using 316 L Stainless Steel material obtained a factor of safety value of 1.8 and Stainless Steel 201 obtained a factor of safety value of 3.1. These two materials have a safety factor value above one, it can be concluded that the results of this test can be declared safe and these two materials are suitable for use.
