Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dengan gaya hidup pada remaja yang gemar kongko di Palembang. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan antara konsep diri dengan gaya hidup pada remaja yang gemar kongko di Palembang. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 100 remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling insidental. Konsep diri dan gaya hidup diukur menggunakan skala konsep diri yang mengacu pada ciri-ciri konsep diri positif dari (Rakhmat, 2015) dan skala gaya hidup mengacu pada aspek-aspek menurut (Plummer, 1974). Analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,050) yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan gaya hidup. Nilai korelasi (r) sebesar -0,818, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa korelasi bersifat negatif. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan diterima.
