Abstract
The study aims to determine the role of work family conflict to marital satisfaction in female employee at X Bank of Palembang city. The hypothesis is there is a work family conflict towards marital satisfaction. The subjects were all female employee in X bank of Palembang City who have been married and have children. Data collection method of this study is population study, where all the population are used as research respondent. Work family conflict were measured used types of Greenhause and Beutell’s (1985) theories. Marital satisfaction were measured used aspects of Fowers and Olson’s (1993) theories. The results were analyzed using simple regression analysis. The results of hypothesis shows value of R=0,689 ; F=76,763 ; and p=0,000 (p<0,05). It means that there was a significant relationship between work family conflict and marital satisfaction. The contribution of R square = 0,475, which means the magnitude of the role of work family conflict in influencing marital satisfaction is 47,5%. In others words, the hypothesis of this study is accepted, which there is role of work family conflict towards marital satisfaction in female employee at X bank of Palembang City.
