Abstract

Landslides are one of the disasters that often occur in Muara Enim district. In 2022, seven landslides were recorded in Muara Enim district. The impact of this disaster can damage settlements, roads, bridges, and can cause casualties and also quite large material losses. This is the background to this research, where one of the efforts to reduce the impact of landslides is by mapping landslide-prone areas. This research utilizes a Geographic Information System (GIS) using scoring and overlay methods. From the results of this research, 5 parameter maps were obtained, such as rainfall maps, slope slope maps, land cover maps, soil type maps, geological type maps and land use maps, which were then carried out by a scoring and overlay process and produced a map of the level of landslide disaster vulnerability in Muara district. Enim. There are 3 classifications of vulnerability levels, namely low, medium and high. Based on the landslide disaster vulnerability level map as a result of research, Muara Enim district has a percentage of 10% for low classification with an area of 58,705.69 ha and has a medium level of vulnerability with a percentage of 84% covering an area of 497,207.44 ha and has a high level of vulnerability with a percentage of 6% covering an area of 34,608. 25 ha.
