Abstract

This study aims to assess the efficiency level of the brick industry This research was conducted in Kecamatan Sukarami of Palembang City, with sample of 11 business units from total population 25 business units. Methods of data collection is a survey method with random sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used in this study are qualitative descriptive and descriptive statistics. The result of this research is the average efficiency level of brick industry in Sukaramj subdistrict of Palembang city which obtained from added value and intennidate cost. This figure is not yet efficient because every rupiah the cost of the madya issued can create added value which is smaller than the middle cost.
