Abstract

This research is aims to determine effect the application of Discovery Learning models on students learning result class IV SDN 45 Palembang of the My Residential Environment Subtheme. This research uses research type One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population and sample of this study is all students of class IV SDN 45 Palembang which are consisting of one class semester of the academic year 2017-2018 which amounted 31 students. Data collection techni-ques that it used are tests (pretest and posttest). Statistic used to analyze data in proof is parametric statistic through hypothesis (t-test), by using t-test obtained tcount 8,67 while ttable equal to 2,042. Thus the hypothesis proposed in this research is acceptable. This can be seen from the pretest average of 45.35 and posttest of 57.94. From the average result of pretest and posttest, it is seen that influence the application of Discovery Learning models on students learning result class IV SD Negeri 45 Palembang of the My Residential Environment Subtheme.
