The research results show that there are three factors causing the erosion of traditional gaming culture, namely (1). Facilities and infrastructure are not supported by the village due to the lack of open public fields that can be used as play areas for children (2). The culture of traditional games has been cut off, parents and also the local community do not introduce traditional game culture so that this game is not known to many children. This is caused by busyness and also a deliberate intention not to introduce the game of Stilts and Engklek and considering this game to be dangerous if played without supervision from parents or the surrounding environment and (3). The influence of modern games, the variety of types of modern games today, causes children to shift their views from traditional games to modern games, whether modern games via cellphone applications or through other media. These three factors are the causes of the decline of traditional game culture in Talang Dukun village, Ogan Ilir district. Keywords: Culture, Traditional Games, Stilts and Engklek Games
