Abstract
This research aimed to increase students intensive listening story skill in Elementary School 25 Indralaya through applying to Make a Match model in Grade V. This research using class action research methodology observing through the three cycles which contain four steps including plan, action, observation, and reflection. The collections data are using a test and observations methodology. However, the subject of this research is all of the VB students which consist of 24 students. The result of this research that found by the author that every cycle is showing the increasing numbers on it. It proved by the author already through the result of students complete learning in cycle I is 52,17% with the average of 61,08, students complete learning in cycle II is 75,00% with the average of 72,08, and students complete learning in cycle III is 91,66% with the average of 88,33. To sum up, this data was supported by the observations data where in cycle I of students activeness is increasing becomes 68,75% active category, in cycle II is 71,87% active category and in cycle III is 83,07% very active category. So, by this data we could conclude that through applying Make a Match model would increase the students intensive listening story in Elementary School 25 Indralaya especially in Grade VB.
