Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) identifying characteristic of tourist and tourist’s assessment about the existence of agrotourism potencial Bangsal Village; (2) identifying factors which influence frequency of visit and estimating economic value of agrotourism potencial Bangsal Village; and (3) formulating the strategy of potencial of agrotourism development at Bangsal Village. The research was executed at Bangsal Village Pampangan Subdistrict Ogan Komering Ilir Regency on March 2019. The sampling method used was non-probability sampling or purposive. The data used were primary data and secondary data. The results showed: 1) tourist’s characteristic is dominated by last teen (17__25 years old) with the appeal is agrotourism attraction. 2) travel cost and age significantly influence demand model of agrotourism potencial Bangsal Village with consumer surplus based on individual travel cost method of Rp155.686,66 per individual per year of visit and economic value of agrotourism potencial Bangsal Village of Rp242.871.189,6. 3) Relative position of agrotourism potencial Bangsal Village was in quadrant I, which means aggresive. Based on internal external matrix, agrotourism potencial Bangsal Village was in IV area, which means growth.
