Abstract
This study aims to produce media of learning the android in the course of techniques welding 1 in mechanical engineering education courses valid and practical. This is the development research and using the model of development Rowntree and wearing tessmer evaluation. The object of research is based on media of learning the android and the research subjects are students of the education departement of the mechanical engineering force 2017. This media developmennt carried out in three phases: planning, stage of development, and evaluation stages. Data collection techniques used were expert validation, pieces of interviews and questionnaires/questionnaire. Expert validation is perfomed to detemine the validity of the product, the interview is used to make omprovements after being validated by a validator. Questionnaire is used to determine pratically product developed. The results of the validation phase validity obtained a percentage of 79% for validation mof media and 88% for material validation. The products have been validated tested to the individual stages and then the product validated in accordance with the advice and comments validator and students. Furthemore, to determine the practically of media trials conducted small group and field test. In the pilot phase a small group of practically questionnaire obtained percentage value of 83% and the percentage value assigned the field test questionnaire practically by 95%. With it can concluded that the media of learning the android in the course of taking the welding technique 1 declared valid and practical techniques used in learning.
