Abstract

This research to produce a product in the form of valid and reliable chemistry questions on reaction rate material and to know the level of difficulty, and discriminative power of these questions. This research uses the 4D development model which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. Product feasibility testing was carried out in two stages, namely expert appraisal and developmental testing. The developed test items are deemed suitable for use based on the criteria of meeting validity requirements, achieving a high validity category of 0.99 from expert appraisal. Based on the quantitative item validity test, it was found that out of 25 questions there were 20 valid questions with the value of validity > 0.433, the reliability test obtained an Alpha Cronbach value of 0.946 > 0.60 with a very high reliability category, the item difficulty level of the question 0.31 < TK < 1.00 in the medium and easy categories, discriminating power at 0.21 < DP < 1.00 in the fair to very good category.
