Abstract

The study entitled “The Effects Of Atta Halilintar’s Vlog Exsposure In Social Media Youtube Toward, The Interest in Making Vlog (Studies On 7th and 8th Grade Students at SMP LTI IGM Palembang)” The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of Atta Halilintar’s vlog exposure in social media youtube towards the interest in making a vlog. This study used a quantitative method with a descriptive analysis and explanatory techiniquw by using simple linear regression. The data collection was done through the collection of questionnaires to 95 respondents in 7th and 8th Grade Students at SMP LTI IGM Palembang by using purposive sampling. The results of the study indicated that the variable of media exposure has a significant effect on the variable of the interest. The hypothesis testing showed that calculate 13.788>t tabel 1.989. Which means that there is an effect between exposure to interest and the effect given by exposure was 67,8% and the rest is the effect from other factors.
