Abstract
This research will discuss the Public Relations Strategy of the South Sumatra Provincial Government in Completing the Construction of the Musi VI Bridge in Palembang. This research uses a qualitative approach using data collection methods, in-depth interviews, observation and documentation relevant to the research. Researchers used the concept of public relations strategy put forward by Cutlip, Center and Broom figures as a reference in conducting this research. The research results found that South Sumatra Provincial Government Public Relations as a contact person between the Government and the Community was carried out through several stages including, Defining the Problem, Planning and Programming consisting of planning and communication strategies, Taking Action and Communicating consisting of several implementations and communications, as well as Program Evaluation carried out .
