Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the best level of using urea in palm fround amoniation to the dry matter, crude fiber, crude protein, BETN and crude fat. This research was done in two processes. The first process was producing palm fround amoniation with in 7 days in Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Universitas Sriwijaya. The second process was analyzed the nutritive value of palm fround amoniation in Laboratorium Ternak Ruminansia and Kimia Makanan Fakultas Pternakan Universitas Padjajaran Bandung. This research used Complete Randomized Design with 4 treatment and 5 replication, include: PO (control), P1 (Palm fround + 2% urea), P2 (Palm fround + 4% urea), P3 (Palm fround + 6% urea), each treatment added with poultry manure 15% of palm frounds dry weight. The parameters measured were dry matter, crude fiber, crude protein, BETN and crude fat. The result of this research showed that the treatment resulted significantly differeces to dry matter, crude fiber, crude protein, BETN and crude fat. The conclusion of the research was treatment by addition urea 4% give the best result in all treatment.
