Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak dari suku bunga, kontrol korupsi dan infrastruktur terhadap masuknya Foreign Direct Investment. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah negara emerging market di Asia dengan menggunakan sampel diantaranya adalah Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Korea Selatan, Oman dan Qatar dengan tahun pengamatan yaitu 2004-2020. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui publikasi data di world bank dan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan Regresi data panel dengan fixed effect model yang diolah melalui aplikasi E-Views. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kontrol korupsi, dan infrastruktur memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan positif terhadap masuknya FDI sementara itu suku bunga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan negatif terhadap masuknya FDI. Pemerintah dalam hal untuk mendorong FDI masuk dapat mengeluarkan kebijakan untuk menurunkan suku bunga, sementara itu untuk mendorong kondusifitas perekonomian kualitas institusional pemerintah dalam hal ini dapat direpresentasikan dengan menguatnya kontrol terhadap korupsi dan penyediaan layanan infrastruktur yang produktif.
