Abstract
Curly chili is a horticultural plant that attracts the attention of many people because it is a daily dish menu for the community. Increasing chili production can be done by improving cultivation techniques such as balancing the use of inorganic fertilizers and organic fertilizers which certainly have their own advantages. The use of swallow manure can be used as an enhancer of nutrient content in the soil and reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers that are damaging to the soil. This study aims to determine how the effect of various doses of swallow feces fertilizer on the growth of curly chili peppers (Capsicum annum L.) variety Iggo Tavi. This study used the Group Randomized Design (RBD) method. The treatment in this study is wallet manure fertilizer with 4 levels of treatment, namely: W0: control, W1: 100 g / polybag, W2: 200 g / polybag, W3 : 300 g / polybag. Data was obtained from the results of the calculation of growth and crop production results analyzed by the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method using the R-studio application. Based on the results of the study, the use of a dose of swallow manure fertilizer can be concluded that giving a dose of 300 g / polybag is the best dose in increasing plant height, number of leaves greenness level, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight and dry weight of the stem. However, it still cannot obtain a significant impact on the fresh weight of leaves, stems, roots and dry weight of leaves and roots. Keywords: curly chili, fertilizer doses, swallow feces
