Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini yaitu “apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 10 Palembang”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang menggunakan desain pre experimental design dengan bentuk One Group Pre-test-post-test Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IIS 2 di SMA Negeri 10 Palembang yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data untuk uji normalitas digunakan rumus Chi-kuadrat dan untuk uji linearitas data menggunakan rumus uji regresi linear. Hipotesis menggunakan statistik parametris yaitu uji t-test sampel related dan diperoleh thitung = 27,15 ≥ ttabel = 1,670, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. Disarankan dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah guru harus dapat memanfaatkan waktu dengan baik agar terlaksananya sintaks model pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien
