Abstract
Energy issues to human survival is a major problem faced by almost all countries in the world. The depletion of oil reserves requires us to use alternative energy or renewable energy. One of them by maximizing the utilization of gas. To operate the engine fuel oil to gas fuel needs to be made an energy conversion devices such as gas converter kit that is used as the lowering of gas pressure at the same time a tool that regulates the amount of gas influx into the combustion chamber. With the gas converter kit we can operate the generator fuel oil to gas fuel. The test is performed by using two types of fuel, namely gasoline and LPG with 5 variations of load generators 2400 watts, 2100 watts, 1800 watts, 1500 watts and 1200 watts. No differences were too significant efficiency between the two fuels, the greatest efficiency obtained on the use of 2400 watt load of 7.86% for fuel Premium and 7.41% for LPG fuel. So is the cost of operating the generator no significant difference.
