Abstract

Functionally, buildings have social, cultural and health functions. One of the buildings that fulfills a health function is a hospital building. As a public building to meet the needs of the community in the health sector, hospital buildings must meet the building reliability aspects stated in government regulation number 16 of 2021 article 27 concerning safety aspects. Planning for pile foundations is an important component of safety aspects. In designing a pile foundation, it is very important to obtain accurate data regarding the subgrade and the structural load that will be supported. These two pieces of information are the key to determining the bearing capacity of a single pile. Therefore, writing this final assignment or thesis will focus on planning pile foundations using various methods in the Lung Building construction project at Siti Fatimah Regional Hospital, South Sumatra Province. There are three methods used to find the bearing capacity of pile foundations, namely the Mayerhoff, Luciano Decourt, and Reese O'Neil methods. The variances used consist of: planned pile cap dimensions, pile caps, and location of pile caps. Of the three methods, the value of the bearing capacity of piles (Qijin) with a diameter (D) of 60 cm at a depth (h) of 12 m is from the Mayerhoff Method of 281.28 tonnes, the Luciano Decourt Method of 124.12 tonnes, the Reese O Method 'neil of 147.97 tons. The value taken is the smallest value Luciano Decourt equal to 124.12 tons, so that the foundation design is safer. The total foundation settlement value Stotal is 35 mm for manual calculations vesic and 52 mm for calculations using a computer program application plaxis.
