Abstract

This research entitled competition between pet traders. This study examines the problems of how the competition background occurs and the form of competition among the pet traders. This study is a descriptive analysis of research that describe the state of a phenomenon that is describes with words or sentences are separated according to category to obtain conclusions. In the determination of informants used purposive purpose to get more detailed information in accordance with the problem research. The research strategy used is etnometodologi with data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interview and documentation. The data collected were then analyzed using data reduction analysis techniques and triangulation. The result of this study indicate that the competition that occurs in the economic competition, competition in the economic field because it is based on material (money oriented). Competition among pet traders were to gain a lot of profit and to attract consumers to buy their merchandise, the traders use their own way and even willing to do anything for the sake of making profits like doing frauds.
